The American rock band Paramore was initially formed in 2004 in Franklin, Tennessee. The main members of the band consist of three artists: drummer Zac Farro, guitarist Taylor York and the vocalist Hayley Williams. Their debut album was released in 2005 called All We Know Is Falling. They attained success even on their first album, which reached the top eight on the UK Rock Chart. The album also got into the top thirty on the Billboard’s Heatseeker Chart. Initially, the album obtained only moderate success along with their single ‘Pressure’, but as the band grew in popularity, their first album and single was eventually Gold certified by the RIAA. Paramore’s second album entitled ‘Riot!’ came out in 2007. Thanks to three singles from the album, ‘Crushcrushcrush’, ‘Misery Business’ and ‘That’s What You Get’, they achieved mainstream success. The album quickly became Platinum certified in America. In the following year, Paramore was among the nominees in the Best New Artist category at the Grammy Awards in 2008. The next year was also successful due to the release of the follow-up album ‘Brand New Eyes’. It became the band’s second best charting album, reaching the top two in the Billboard 200 with an impressive 175,000 album sales in the first week. The single ‘The Only Exception’ was attributed to the overall success of the album, reaching Gold in New Zealand, Australia, US and Canada. It achieved Platinum in both the UK and Ireland. Brothers Zac and Josh Farro left the band in 2010. Paramore released their next album in 2013, entitled ‘Paramore’. The album was well received and went on to reach the number one position on the US Billboard 200. It was also the best-selling album in the UK, New Zealand, Brazil, Mexico, Ireland, Australia and Argentina. They received a Grammy for the Best Rock Song. Zac Farro re-joined Paramore in 2017 and released the album ‘After Laughter’ in the same year.
